I am presently sitting in my office, on one of the top floors of the Union Planters Bank Building in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Before my operation one week ago, I never realized how nice the city and surrounding areas looked from my office window. They day after my surgery, I woke up early and went for a walk around my neighborhood. It felt like Christmas morning, my gifts were seeing things with my own eyes rather than with contacts or glasses. I was shocked at how soon after surgery my vision was improved. In addition to being impressed with my better vision, I was in disbelief at the absence of discomfort or any pain. As I write this letter to you, my eyes feel like there was nothing done to them.
